ISTT Settled Companies Participate in ECOMONDO Exhibition in Italy

Two of Isfahan Science and Technology Town’s settled companies, Saman Energy Co. and Faratahghigh Sepahan Co (SBR) participated in the 21^st edition of ECOMONDO exhibition, the leading international trade fair on green economy, dedicated to environment, material recovery, renewable energy and sustainable industrial development held at Rimini Fair, Italy from the 7^th to the 10^th of November 2017.

Participation at this fair was made possible through ISTT’s collaboration with the Investment and Technology Promotion office of the United Nation Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO ITPO) in Italy which was looking to strengthen capacities of developing countries in the implementation of the international commitments of COP 21.

During the Conference and in a frame work of side sessions a special event was dedicated to Iran in which the profiles of the participants coming from Iran were presented. The Iranian delegation which included ISTT’s representatives came from the recycling, renewable energy, and environmental consultation sectors.

ECOMONDO is a major international event for green technologies showcasing the most advanced solutions for the most effective management and transformation of waste of any kind, as well as to save water, achieve energy efficiency and reuse resources. Italy is indeed among the leading countries in Europe for the implementation of green economy, in particular for energy efficiency, waste recycling and resource productivity. As a result, the exhibition is a strategic forum at international level for sector professionals and key market players such as technology providers, investors and companies operating in the sectors of interest.

The participation of ISTT settled companies at international fairs is strongly pursued by the International Affairs Department of ISTT in order to facilitate and strengthen the capacity for export of Knowledge-based technology and products from Iran to other parts of the world.
